Position

Project Manager

KUZA, a private sector social enterprise/BCorp, uses business as a force for good to drive systems change at scale in the food and agriculture sector with digital and youth at front and center. KUZA enrolls rural youth as members of its OneNetwork (a curated digital ecosystem platform), provides incubation services and graduates them  as Agripreneurs by equipping them with the knowledge, tools and a network to connect with service providers to earn sustainable livelihoods.

 

We’re seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee program implementation, partnership building, and stakeholder engagement. Your role involves managing and coordinating partnerships, stakeholder relations, and project management activities. You’ll provide essential support to our teams while facilitating solution design, market analysis, and training workshops for scalability and effectiveness. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate partnerships, stakeholder relations, and project activities to ensure successful program implementation.
  2. Provide essential support to project teams, including backstopping, technical assistance, resource allocation, to meet project objectives and timelines.
  3. Facilitate solution design and market analysis to inform project strategies and decision-making processes.
  4. Organize and oversee training workshops and capacity-building initiatives for project stakeholders as needed.
  5. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or challenges, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  6. Collaborate with internal/ external stakeholders to foster effective communication, alignment & collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years of project management experience.
  2. Proven experience including grass-roots involvement in rural retail business promotion around agriculture & livestock, and or entrepreneurship development.
  3. Strong leadership,  communication & presentation  skills.
  4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.
  5. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  6. Passion for development, & flexibility to work in diverse environments

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants must be graduates in Business Management/ Agriculture, Animal Science or other relevant fields from a reputed institution and/or substantive practical experience.
